Reality TV programs have put many different stereotypes in the world today, for both women and men. Women or girls are either portrayed as a catty backstabber, the angry black women, the old digger, or the loving slut. The shows like the Bachelorette, Toddlers and Tiaras, and Husband-and-Chief portray women in such a negative way. But what is the one show people are trying to get kicked off the air? The Bachelorette? No. The shows with negative stereotypes? No. Honey Boo-Boo!! The one reality show that is breaking away from the Victorian Women. Reports have said it is "inappropriate and not presenting women well" but who are they to judge that? Who is the person to draw the line on what is appropriate for women? Honey Boo-Boo is the one program that examines the insight of women. Most girls fart, poop, eat junk food; we do all the things guys think we don't. It infuriates me that the one show being kicked off TV is the program that is breaking away from stereotypical young girls or older women. Young girls are able to walk around in an itty bitty tiny bikini on stage but can't walk around in sweats or a t-shirt. That is the outcome of gender in society today. We are the only people that can change the stereotypes that reality TV is creating, but the one TV show trying to change it is being kicked off air. Its everyone's personal opinion on the correct thing to do.
